Lionel GUIJARRO
Experience
A lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2006, Lionel GUIJARRO is a partner in the firm.
He is specifically involved in public law cases, focussing principally on airport issues, advising airport licence holders and operators and defending them before the administrative or judicial courts.
He also assists French and foreign airline companies in their relations with the French administration and before independent administrative authorities, as well as in cases brought by passengers.
He is responsible for air accident cases relating to public and private transport, intervening when the liability of pilots, flying clubs, instructors, equipment manufacturers and their insurers is called into question, to provide expertise for out of court settlements or legal issues as well as representation before the civil and criminal courts.
In this context he has worked on major air accident cases.
He is a member of the French Society of Air and Space Law (SFDAS).
Qualifications
A graduate of the EFB (studies for admission to the Paris Bar), the Institute of Public Business Law (IDPA) and the Institute for Political Studies in Grenoble, Lionel GUIJARRO also holds a Master’s degree in Public Law and Territorial Law.
Lecturing
Lionel GUIJARRO has been a lecturer at the University of Paris XIII Nord since 2007, where he gives lectures and tutorials on Public Institutions, Local Authorities and European Union Law.
He has also given seminars on Aviation Insurance Law at the Air Transport Training and Research Institute (IFURTA) of the University of Aix-Marseille.
