Isabelle LELIEUR is a partner in the firm.
She advises and represents airline companies, airports, insurers and service providers, in France and abroad. She works primarily on cases relating to contracts (PPP and private contracts), regulatory issues, competition, liability and personal data protection (GDPR).
Having worked in the aviation industry for almost 20 years, her variety of experiences with airline companies (Air France – 2000), institutions (European Commission – 2002), professional bodies (French airport association -UAF – 2002-2007), and airport operators (VINCI Airports 2007-2017) has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the industry and its strategic and regulatory issues, in France as well as abroad (specifically, in Europe, Asia and Africa).
She is a member of the French Society of Air and Space Law (SFDAS) and of the European Air Law Association (EALA).
She is graduated from the Toulouse I Capitole Law University and received a Master’s degree from the Air Transport Training and Research Institute the University of Aix-Marseille (IFURTA). She also holds a graduate degree (LLM) from the Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL), McGill University, Montreal. She is admitted to Paris Bar.
Lecturing and Publications
Isabelle LELIEUR lectures at a number of French universities: Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Toulouse I Capitole and Aix-Marseille, as well as working as an instructor for the Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organization (JAA TO) in Hoofddorp (Amsterdam).
Isabelle LELIEUR published a book on airline ownership and control, as well as several articles on airport regulation and bilateral air service agreements.
